My thoughts on Frank Miller's occupy post

Earlier this week Frank Miller, the writer/artist famed for creating Batman: the dark knight and the sin city series, wrote a blogpost about his thoughts on the occupy movement currently brewing in major cities around the globe. The post was, frankly, a tad on the crazy side and really conjured up the image of a man who would be comfortable in tinfoil head-wear.
He starts by invoking the common stereotype that all occupy moment participants are just privileged young people baring iDevice but the quickly descends into accusing all of them of being rapists. After a few scatological insults he then goes off into a rather odd tangent that the occupy movement should enlist because America is at war with al Qaeda and islamicists.
I found myself unable to get angry over this post, simply because its so disjointed and rambling.  he shows no understanding of the realities of the occupy movement, its purpose or method and offers no ideological counter argument. just profanities and his own paranoia.
If it had any content beyond insults with a thick, creamy dollop of crazy i could have at leased cared about it but there is nothing to this post, just a madman screaming his hatred for a cloud.

Now anyone who has followed Miller’s work knows his work has gone down hill in a major way. It seems he started writing sin city stories and never stopped. The Violence and over-narration that characterise those stories became not only present in all his works to a degree of self parody.
I thought his lowest point was the recent All Star Batman and Robin fiasco in which was supposed to be a series for new readers that reduced the original batman story down to its core elements. What we got was a psychotic batman gleefully killing police while kidnapping a traumatised robin before punching him and leaving him to starve for days in pitch black cave. Before you ask, this was done without irony and clearly not some deconstruction of batman.
Now Miller has recently released a new graphic novel called holly terror, which was originally intended to be a story about batman taking on the the Taliban. Due to the heads of dc having a bit of common sense, they barred Miller from using the batman property for what was essentially his own personal fanfiction about batman killing terrorists. Instead he simply copy/pasted the characters and gave them different names. batman became the fixer and he was free to publish what i can only describe as one of the worst books I've ever read.

yes it seems terrorists have replaced Frank’s unhealthy obsession with ‘whores’ This all gives a rather sad picture of what the inside of Mr Miller’s head; A Bazaar world of 2 dimensional terrorist stereotypes ready to crush an America and scary, threatening youngsters who he doesn't understand. oh, and i’m sure whores still feature in there some way.
like i said: just a madman screaming his hatred for a cloud.
